Next Saturday, La Valenciana will perform at the Catholic Centre in Sants.

Through a repertoire consisting of original works for this ensemble, we want to highlight the diversity of timbres, dynamics and styles that the band can perform. Each piece has a different character, and together they take us on a musical journey to discover the infinite palette of colours that the band can offer.

Spring Concert 10th Anniversary

Banda La Valenciana is preparing a very special performance this season: the Spring Concert, which this year coincides with the celebration of the ensemble’s 10th anniversary.

The concert will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 12:00 PM at the Casino del Centre in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, where we will share with the audience a programme designed to celebrate this ten-year journey. Admission is free, with a voluntary donation (pay-what-you-wish) at the end of the event.

On this occasion, the concert will be conducted by our colleague Pepe Falgàs, who will make his debut as conductor at the head of the band. He will lead the concert in place of the principal conductor, Vicent Coleto.

The programme includes a varied selection of works such as El verd, Lo cant del Valencià, Armenian Dances, L’Arlésienne, as well as other pieces from the Valencian musical tradition, creating a concert that brings together different styles and sound worlds.

With this performance, Banda La Valenciana continues its concert activity in what is a particularly significant year for the ensemble.
