Our project is part of the Erasmus+ programme, the European Union’s initiative to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Within this programme, we participate in the KA122-ADU action, which allows the mobility of students and adult education staff through short-term projects.
Thus, we will live a learning experience in another country, where both musicians and band directors will improve our musical, pedagogical and social skills. In addition, we will receive a visit from a European music expert, who will offer us new interpretative and methodological approaches.

Project Objectives
Main activities
- Guest expert: Sara Maganzini, European conductor, will guide us in a 3-day intensive stage, where we will explore new techniques and ways of understanding musical direction and interpretation.
- Job-shadowing: Our directors will carry out an observation stay in a European centre or band, where they will be able to learn first-hand how they work in other countries and thus enrich our methodology.
- Mobilitat de grup: We will travel to Sicily, where the band Corpo Bandistico ‘Maestro Giuseppe Caruso’ from Novara di Sicilia will welcome us to share rehearsals, concerts and musical experiences. This stay will allow us to connect with a new cultural reality and promote the exchange between musicians.
This project will help us to grow both individually and collectively. We want to learn new techniques and get to know other ways of making music. It will also help us to consolidate our band and continue to make music a tool for union and learning. All this, while reinforcing the values of cooperation, learning and cultural openness that characterize Erasmus+.
